​Soledad, aka Soldier, stands at 16H and is a true gem, a diamond in the rough. His pedigree is brimming with rich Spanish heritage from one of the most prominent breeders in the USA, the Garrison Ranch.

Garrison Ranch imported champions of Spain and bred many US Champions, creating a legacy of outstanding quality horses. Their success was the foundation for many other breeding programs. Soldier was sired by the champion stallion BRUNO, and is half brother of multiple national champion Santiago, one of the most accomplished and popular champion PRE stallions in US history.

Very intelligent, sensitive, and powerful, his well-balanced conformation produces beautifully rhythmic gaits with ample energy and impulsion. He is straight moving, no winging, with elastic and comfy to sit gaits. He picks up the correct lead and has nice transitions. No buck, bolt, rear, kick or vices, he is people loving and easy to manage. Barefoot, easy keeper.

Soldier has great presence and proudly carries himself like a stallion without the unwanted stallion behaviors. Originally started in his initial training by the renown Vic Pozzo, he will make a fantastic amateur partner.

Soldier has literally years of ground training but needs a restart as its been a while since he was in consistent training. He enjoys his work and has a desire to please. If you are willing to take the time to finish his training, you will have a glorious partner with the heart and willingness to take you anywhere. This is a horse who is just touching his prime years and needs a special partner to bring out his potential.

He is respectful of humans, he only needs the lightest touch. You can easily move him at a distance with just body gestures, he is so light, sensitive, eager to please. He could be an ammy horse under a trainer, but an intermediate rider would enjoy him right away. Soldier is available to an approved home, and is for sale only due to owners health issues.
